A bit of excitement and some anxiety on campus this week with a griefing that left hundreds of items in the library. During cleanup, a blaster was activated accidentally taking out a wall. This created a rather open air library. As a compensatory activity several of us made believe we were in Hawaii and drank Piña Coladas and Mai Tais there yesterday. |

There's a very positive ending. This is resulting in negotiated a new agreement between the library and Oxbridge proper that will set auto-return, allow a few selected members of staff to have more power on the library parcel, set clear guidelines of responsibility for dealing with library problems. |
