As you may be able to tell from being on the ground, or from this chart, we have had a fairly significant rise in people coming through here. This is because LL has added a new "Social Island" to the entry path for new residents, and Oxbridge is one of the random destinations given by the "Editor's Picks" pathway (one of the portals for new people to leave the island). |

According to Designing worlds (via Julianna Lethbetter), "According to Patch Linden, they use an API that queries the Destination Guide to select locations-- but they also contain copies of landmarks for those places, to give out to the transportee, which suggests that the list of potential locations is at least temporarily "fixed', rather than being constantly in flux." |
