15:03	Carl Metropolitan	Second Life's 17th Birthday celebration is open now. SL17B runs though July 12th. If you are one of the few people who managed to find our Oxbridge Exhibit at this year's VWBPE, the SL17B exhibit is pretty much the same, but on the ground.

15:08	Cychwynn	Is anything known about the airships in Caledon glitching? The one that flies over my house have come down o fly through my home a few times this week.

15:09	Carl Metropolitan	I was hoping he would be here tonight as I wanted to ask him about an Airship terminal in Oxbridge (as I understand the Oxbridge Village one is going away).

15:09	Gronk Seriman	Restarting regions seems to help fix bounding airships that have trouble crossing borders.

15:10	Carl Metropolitan	The way it works is that if a sim is crowded the system holds a few spots under the limit in reserve for premium teleports.
15:10	Carl Metropolitan	That is the reason that if you see a sim under its limit on the map, and try to teleport, you will very often still get a message saying the sim is full and you can't enter.
15:11	Soup Jonson	I was a VIP teleporter until the incident it is too soon to talk about it.

15:12	Carl Metropolitan	One nice benefit they don't list on that page is that there are a lot of premium-member only sandboxes for building. Whole sims for nothing else but that.

15:17	Phrynne	Sometimes mine does, sometimes it does not. I'm not sure why the difference.
15:18	Gronk Seriman	It may give you an advantage, but I think crowds have a hard cap once it's filled.
15:18	Carl Metropolitan	I kept it forever, even though I did not use the land, as I was grandfathered in at the 500L per week stipend, but...
15:18	iRezzer	The link that was sent about the preferred access has a section that explains the extra support for premium… that extra cushion you spoke of.
15:18	iRezzer	That is neat to learn.
15:19	Carl Metropolitan	I found the stipend and the premium only sandboxes the nicest benefit.

15:24	Carl Metropolitan	There are two types of land in Second Life—Mainland and Private Estates. Mainland is parcels on continents that are managed and owned by Linden Lab. Private Estate land (like Caledon) is on sims, or groups of sims, that are owned and managed by another Second Life resident (Desmond Shang in the case of Caledon)

15:27	Carl Metropolitan	Potentially if you arrange it in advance. But right now, LL is mostly closed due to the Coronavirus and most Linden employees are working remotely.

15:43	Carl Metropolitan	You can always right click on someone's (mesh) outfit and select "Object Profile" to get information, but it can be hard to do, and if people are wearing stuff that responds to clicks they may get annoyed.
15:44	Carl Metropolitan	Some people wear these invisible multi-layered "anti inspect shields" to prevent that, too. Those don't work on scripted HUDs like the one I just handed to people who asked for one.
