Caledon Quest has a few unique challenges. While I don't plan to ever shut down a region, I know how disruptive it can be to the quest -- and if I am not mistaken, that is the reason it is offline now. The quest systems I have in The Wastelands, that need to be adopted, are much more freeform. We can add and remove components pretty easily -- so things can be adapted to when we get more spaces to explore, or less. |

I think before I open up this meeting to upcoming events discussion, I am just going to say I am going to avoid scooping up other themed communities for my own sanity -- but no promises. I took on Caledon because I knew Des really well over the years, and he was my mentor. I took on NT, because I had occasionally been there, and it's been around almost as long as The Wastelands. I think themed communities are the lifeblood of SL -- and losing any of them makes SL less. I really hope that all themed communities can carry on strong, but I know that it is sometimes hard, and hard choices must be made from time to time. The community is the magic sauce of any long lasting estate. Losing that community, those folks may never come back to SL. |

There are some cool turn of the century (19th-20th) public domain movies .. and some are intriguing - stop motion things.
